Having understood the importance of bio-gas, its uses, its potential, we have launched an organization called CHETANA RENEWABLE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY to propagate the production and full use of bio-gas in rural areas of Karnataka. Our organization was already in the field of Bio-diesel development and production for the last five years.
The Bio-fuel was developed in co-ordination with Samagra Vikasa, the well known organization which is engaged in production and R & D activities as also in promoting awareness of other alternative energy sources in the state of Karnataka.
Our society has successfully demonstrated our ability to produce bio-diesel for use in Motor vehicles in the presence of 150 delegates from Maharastra, Officers of SSI, NOIDA. Our performance and case history has been selected for reference of further studies in a seminar organized by Ministry of petroleum for development of alternative sources of production of bio-diesel.
Our endeavor in the field of bio-technology has been appreciated and encouraged for further development in the field and bio-gas is one such field. The objective is to establish a bio-gas plant and to encourage the rural farmers to utilizing the natural waste and to produce bio-gas for self-sufficiency in power requirement.
We believe that this effect will go a long way in solving the energy requirement and added advantage of waste disposal, producing organic manure out of the residuals and thereby ensure a green environment which is the buzz of the day.
